Либерали́зм (фр. libéralisme) — философское, экономическое и политическое учение, исходящее из свободы человека распоряжаться собой и своей собственностью. Идеалом либерализма является общество со свободой действий для каждого, ограничением государственной власти, верховенством закона, частной собственностью (в том числе на информацию, если это не противоречит свободе слова) и свободой частного предпринимательства. Либерализм отверг многие положения эпистемологического фундаментализма, бывшие основой предшествующих теорий государства, такие как божественное право монарха, статус наследника и устоявшуюся религию, отдав предпочтение плюрализму и демократическому управлению государством при сведении функций самой государственной власти к минимуму. Фундаментальные принципы либерализма включают индивидуальные права (на жизнь, личную свободу и собственность); равные права для всех зрелых граждан и всеобщее равенство перед законом; свободную рыночную экономику; правительство, избираемое на честных выборах; прозрачность государственной власти. Бюст Эвы Перон в Ла-ПлатеМария Эва Дуарте де Перон (исп. María Eva Duarte de Perón), также известна под именем Эвита (Evita), родилась 7 мая 1919 в Лос Тольдос и умерла 26 июля 1952 года в Буэнос-Айресе. Она была первой леди Аргентины и являлась второй женой президента Хуана Перона.

Comprehensive overview of politics coverage

Politics is the process and method of gaining or maintaining support for public or common action: the conduct of decision-making for groups. This notion predates human society. Although it is usually applied to governments, political behavior is also observed in corporate, academic, religious, and other institutions.

Political science is the field devoted to studying political behavior and examining the acquisition and application of power, or the ability to impose one’s will on another. Its practitioners are known as political scientists. Political scientists look at elections, public opinion, institutional activities (how legislatures act, the relative importance of various sources of political power), the ideologies behind various politicians and interest groups, how politicians achieve and wield their influence, and so on.A lot of articles in Wikipedia are related to politics, especially to political science, democracy and the various aspects of a democratic system, most notably elections.
